Seben is 55 km (34 mile) far to Bolu. Seben is a town and a district of Bolu Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. It covers an area of 682 km2, and the population (2000) is 8,871 of which 4,334 live in the town of Seben. The mayor is Suleyman Ozbag (AKP).

Seben is an attractive district known for its apples. The high meadows, average 1400m, on the flanks of Kiraz Dagi(Mountain), of these Kizik yayla(high meadows), with its attractive wooden houses is the best-known. Baglum Kaplicalari – healing mineral water spring in the village of Kesenozu, 14km south of Seben.
