Antalya is a rich city in art and history and culture. Historic Kaleici province is surrounded by narrow streets and with antique walls of the castle, its worth to see the Hadrianus Gate which was built by Empire of Ancient Roman Empire Hadrianus, there is an archeology museum, many historical structures and historic ruins around.

Kaleici is the center of the city. It has been restored with a lot of hotels, bars, clubs, restaurants and shopping centers to serve the visitors again. The restoration work did not change the historical structure of the place which made place to win the Golden Apple Award being assumed the Nobel of the Tourism.

Antalya probably boasts the best choice of Ottoman-house hotels, 7*, 5*, 4*, 3* hidden away in many districts. There’s something to suit every taste here, with some of the hotels lavishly decorated in Ottoman style while others favour a modernist look. Every wallet is also catered for even those on backpacker budgets will be able to find an Ottoman house to accommodate them. Good Antalya Hotels are; Tuvana Hotel, Kempinski Hotel The Dome, Rixos Hotel, Myland Nature, Alp Pasa Hotel, Candles House, DeJaVu Boutique Hotel, Dogan Hotel, Tutav Turk Evi, Happy Hotel, Villa Hotel Tamara, Divan Talya Hotel, Ring Hotel, Sabah Pansiyon, Atelya Pansiyon, Ninova Pansiyon etc.

Antalya has dining opportunities to suit all tastes and pockets with restaurants in the Kaleici inevitably marking up their prices to take account of the location. The harbour restaurants in particular come with price tags that reflect the premium views rather than the quality of the food. Seraser Restaurant, an elegant establishment in a beautiful building furnished in an old-world style that seems a bit out of place in the otherwise casual Kaleici.  The service differs markedly from most local restaurants, in that they bring everyone’s meal at the same time. Duck, quail, and rib-eye were on the menu and there was an almost unheard of absence of kabobs.  Many other restaurants here also have lamb chops, but they are thin and usually overcooked. 7 Mehmet, a classy modern setting serving traditional grilled meats and various mezes.  Everything was good, and prices were not much higher than neighborhood places serving similar fare. Mangal, is very informal, but the meat is just as good.  At Mangal there’s no mixed grill on the menu, just steak, kebabs, and chicken ordered by weight. Lara Balik Evi, is the best fish restaurant in town. It’s a simple and elegant setting like 7 Mehmet.  The waiters come around with mezes to choose from, and then you go pick out your fish.
