Urgup Museum is 21 km (13 mile) far to Nevsehir centurum. In this museum opened to visit in 1972, pre-historical, Ancient Bronze Age, Hittite, Frig, Persian, Hellenistic, Roma, Byzantine and Ottoman objects are exhibited in addition to the fossil samples found in Ürgüp and its surroundings. There is also a part where local clothes, articles and weapons of this area are exhibited.

The museum building consists of ground and basement floor. On the ground floor, there are exhibition rooms where archeological and ethnographical objects from the pre-historic times to Ottoman period are exhibited.
