Akşemseddin Tomb is 96 km (59 mile) far to Bolu centurum. The tomb is a hexagonal structure made of sandstone and covered with a dome without a pulley. Including a pointed arched pediment above the gate, the tomb’s inside decoration was very simple. The pendants of the dome were attractive. The tomb includes two windows on the edges, at the top and at the bottom. The windows at the top were decorated with colorful glass plasters belonging to the late period. Akşemseddin’s sarcophagus made of walnut tree and decorated with braille, and its lids decorated with garnet emboss, are beautiful examples of the Ottoman woodcarving.
