The Crimson Church is 38 km (23 mile) far to Aksaray centurum. Kizil Church, or the Crimson Church, located in Sivrihisar village subject to Guzelyurt town of Aksaray province is made of red face stone. The building, which is presumed to have been constructed in the Vth and VIth Centuries, attracts attention with its closed Greek cross plan. Despite the fact that the interior space is covered with frescoes, a large section of it has been damaged. In the frescoes which are visible,  there are scenes from the Bible and the portraits of the apostles. The Crimson Church, which is one of the rare examples of the architecture of the early Christianity period of the Cappadocia Region which have survived up to the present day, is three naved.
